Around the world, thousands of children are at risk of poverty, abuse, trafficking or exploitation.
Pedal Against Poverty uses cycling to raise money for these children. We would love you to join us in one of our events and in doing so, to support some of the most vulnerable children in the world.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY DAY EVENT
15 October 2016
People of all ages, and all levels of cycling ability are invited to take part in the Sunrise2Sunset challenge.
Ride solo or form a team, and take shifts to ride from 7am to 7pm straight, at Bass Hill’s Criterion Circuit. Ask people to sponsor you, and raise money for the Vulnerable Children’s Fund.
(You are also welcome to set a different time length for your challenge).
8 DAY ENDURANCE EVENT
29 October 2016 – 5 November 2016
On 29 October 2016, riders will set off from the Gold Coast on an 8-day, 1,000km cycling journey to Sydney, to raise money for vulnerable children around the world.
Cyclists will travel together through spectacular Australian scenery, with the assistance of a support crew, support vehicles front and back, and a team of professional cyclists.
The ride aims to raise $100,000 for vulnerable children around the world.
