Current Positions

Marketing Manager
This pivotal role is integral to the strategic growth of BWAA. Supported by a dedicated team, the Marketing Manager will be charged with the end-to-end process of the product cycle from concept to design and the launch to markets particularly in Australia.  The ability to effectively drive ‘brand recognition’ and draw from a robust database for research, analysis and planning purposes is important.  Familiarity with the implementation of innovative and effective fundraising strategies is also critical. Finance Manager
Our Finance Department is currently undergoing significant change. The new Finance Manager will have the opportunity to set the strategic direction of the department to ensure comprehensive and effective financial management for the organisation. The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the organisation's financial operations, providing critical financial analysis and timely management accounts, and implementing our long-term financial management strategy.

Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant provides proactive, efficient and professional administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Team with a high level of competence, confidentiality, maturity and professionalism. Main duties include coordinating diaries and appointments, preparing agendas and minutes for meetings, working with the Board Secretary to coordinate Board meetings, providing support to the Executive Team and Board Committees, and general administrative tasks. Read the Job Advertisement and Full Position Description.

Production and Marketing Coordinator (Full Time)
As part of our Publicity and Marketing Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient production and delivery of all campaign and communication materials of Baptist World Aid Australia. Board Membership
As a Board Member you will have input into the organisational direction, annual plans and budgets. You will help monitor and guide the ethical standards, vision, mission, core values and mandate for the organisation.

We are looking for people with demonstrated governance experience and expertise in overseas development and/or finance, who are passionate about justice for those living in poverty, have a firm grasp of the relating biblical principles, and are involved in local church life. Freeset Bags and Apparel Pvt Ltd is a social business located in the main red light district of Kolkata (India). Freeset offers employment to women wishing to break free from the sex trade. Currently they employ 180 former sex workers and their daughters and manufacture bags and Tshirts for export, but their core business is Freedom. Freeset wish to appoint a new General Manager to oversee and lead this business. This person needs strong business management skills; the ability to lead a culturally diverse group; and a heart for doing business for the benefit of the poor. This is a volunteer position located in Kolkata, India.
