SAO Sunday 2010 - ONE COMMUNITY
Baptist World Aid Australia invites you and your church to take part in SAO Sunday 2010. This is a powerful opportunity for your church to seek God’s heart for the poor, engage practically and creatively with the issue of child poverty, and discover ways to make a difference.

Baptist churches have been sent a full resources pack to arrive from around August 3. This pack includes the resources to run SAO Sunday 2010 in your church either as a family service, a traditional service or a youth service.
If your church has not received the pack by around August 10, please call the Church Relationship Coordinator for your area on 1300 789 991.

- Resources Pack - full of ideas to help focus your church on issues of child poverty, including sermon notes, advocacy activities, dramas, children’s talks and prayer activities.
- A3 poster – to help promote SAO Sunday 2010 in the lead up to your event.
- Bulletin Inserts – to help promote SAO Sunday 2010 in the lead up to your event.
- Prayer station posters – designed to help your church remember poor children in prayer, focussing on child development, survival and protection.
- PowerPoint Templates – you can use these during your sermon, an overview of SAO Sunday, or to display the promise in the Handprints banner activity.
- DVD – to help your church understand the issues facing children living in poverty is hosted on YouTube.
