Grow your gift today!
SEE YOUR $1 MULTIPLIED BY UP TO 6 TIMES
Baptist World Aid Australia runs our Matching Grant Appeal at tax time each year.
The Matching Grant Appeal is a unique opportunity to make your gift go further when it is combined with an Australian Government grant. For every dollar we use from the Matching Grant Appeal on approved projects, we may access up to five dollars from an Australian Government grant, giving us up to six dollars to put into action. These funds are used for community development projects that work alongside communities, helping them lift themselves out of poverty.
For example, a gift of $44 can grow to $266 and provide 100 testing kits to test wells in Bangladesh for arsenic.
Make a tax deductible donation today and multiply your gift to help families living in poverty. Don't delay, donations must be received by 30 June 2011.

How does the Matching Grant appeal work?
Strict conditions determine how funding in this scheme is allocated to accredited NGOs and the amount is predetermined based on the last three years’ development spending. AusAID requires that for every $6 spent on approved projects, the ratio of funding be no less than $1 from Baptist World Aid Australia to $5 from the AusAID grant. For more information on the funding scheme visit http://www.ausaid.gov.au/ngos/ancp.cfm. Where funds raised exceed the amount required to meet the needs of the Matching Grant Fund projects (or funds are received after 30 June 2011), Baptist World Aid Australia will use the excess funds to help people involved in similar projects.
