Your gift helps build hygienic latrines for families in Bangladesh, along with education on their use and general hygiene. This can significantly improve the health of communities prevent needless deaths from diarrhoea and waterborne diseases.

The latrines are made out of three concrete rings and a concrete slab. Most of the parts are provided by the project, but families are part of the process by purchasing one of the rings and providing the labour for installation. All family members also take part in training to understand the dangers of unhygienic waste disposal and the benefits of using the latrines and hand washing
