Sponsorship

If you want to promote sponsorship in your church, contact us and we will provide you with:

1) Several child sponsorship packs that contain:

• A child partner profile, with a photo of the child partner and information about life in their community.
• A country profile showing the history and poverty of the country in which the child partner lives.
• A blank letter form to assist people in writing to their child partner.
• First letters from the child partner if we have received them.

2) Several SAO Friend packs for those who do not want a direct link to a child, containing:

• A community partnerships profile, where people will meet some of the children that their donations will support.
• A leaflet which explains how and where SAO Children is working.
• A SAO Children ‘action’ brochure, designed to help people on their journey of response to global poverty. It includes practical guidance on how they can Listen, Speak, Consume, Give, and Pray in ways that will bless the poor, oppressed and vulnerable.

3) Some simple forms you can use to sign up people who express interest in supporting a child or becoming a SAO Friend. People can also sponsor a child online.

Gift Opportunities

If you want to promote Gift Opportunities in your church, contact us and we will provide you with:

1. A gift stall resource dvd.
2. A gift catalogue to familiarise yourself and people who purchase gifts on what is available.
3. Some simple forms you can use to gather details of the people who express interest in buying gifts.
4. A Gift Opportunities poster to put up and bring attention to your stall.
5. Several cards and envelopes to give to those who purchase gifts.

Gift Opportunities cards can also be purchased online, and in print your own or ecard versions.
